Every golfer appreciates the beauty and design of a golf course. Whether you are a student of course architecture or just have a passing interest in the basics of design, you'll want to make this vintage graphic a part of your clubhouse, office, study or family room. This graphic covers the evolution of golf course architecture, from the natural linkslands of Scotland in the 1800s to the present day. The top section of the print includes over one hundred leading architects and more than three hundred of their prominent courses. The bottom section of the print includes seven hole illustrations that provide a visual overview of the different design styles that have evolved during the game's history. Golf Course Architecture was created digitally to allow courses, architects and styles to be added in the future. The hole illustrations were crafted to produce a pen & ink with watercolor effect. Large text and lines were treated to produce a hand-drawn look. These elements, combined with printing on heavy weight, textured cold press natural paper, result in a graphic that has the appearance of a vintage map.
